ISO-Certified Kurvers Piping Quality Management

Quality management is an integral part of the Kurvers Piping organization. The company has been certified to ISO 9001. The Quality Manual and related procedures are working documents familiar at all levels in the company, and constantly reviewed for effectiveness by management. The system is designed to ensure that all customers requirements are met, whilst retaining the ability to act quickly without being stifled by bureaucracy. Decision-making is local but with inbuilt checks and balances to ensure the elimination of errors.
The Quality Manager reports directly to the Technical Director and is not constrained by local management. Thus, he is able to report objectively on problems and ensure that corrective action is both prompt and effective.
Kurvers' Quality Manager and Technical Director also survey suppliers' plants to make sure that only verified qualified suppliers are selected. Documentation is critical because most of the materials that Kurvers supplies form an integral part of structures that often require third party inspection/certification and governmental approvals.
